The journey to Malacca took about three hours from iium. The view along the journey was not that nice compared to the exciting views from Tawau to Kota Kinabalu in Sabah..Believe me, in some location like ‘Ranau’ and ‘Kundasang’, you might don’t want to close your eyes seeing them.. But urmm, we’ll talk about it later.
When reach the boundary of Negeri Sembilan to Malacca, The situation changed.Thats because Malacca is a unique place, not like the other state.. Along the road, you can see a lot of 'Malay Pantun' written in the side board.
We arrived at 11.45am (based on my wrist watch) at Stadhuys.. This is of course the first time i step my foot here. My friend, Sue, showed me to A’Famosa (an ancient city in Malacca), Independent Memorial museum, and Islamic Malay Museum .It is located seven minutes by ‘beca’..Well, i don’t believe that i was there at that time. The picture of this old city always putted inside the high school history textbooks or in the old songs videoclip in the tv. It kind of dream to be here, of course.
After A’Famosa, we are going to the Merdeka Parade to buy something then we took a tour around ‘Dataran Pahlawan’. It is a good place to visit actually. We even went to ‘Menara Taming Sari’ (A tower keris alike)..
Then, we are going to the ‘Samudera Museum’. It is a ship museum actually. Look great...Well, i can’t share this with words..
It is nice to be here. Trust me, you will feel that you are in the era before the independence, gone through the life of the old people, studied their culture, feel their suffer and share their survival against the outsider that want to get their land...really classic and memorable place to go..Indeed, this is a great place for art, cultural and historical lover.....like me ^_^
